Posture Correction

In our everyday lives, repetitive movements affect our posture and create many physical imbalances in our bodies, such as the way we sit or stand at work, constantly looking up or down at screens and the task at hand, our choice of exercise (or lack of), and old injuries that haven't fully healed.

At IH&P we work with you to assess affected parts of the body and implement tools such as myofascial release, applicable strengthening and stretching exercises and if necessary, rehab, to help improve posture and regain physical alignment, balance, reducing pain in the body and promoting physical longevity.

When we have good posture and have greater physical alignment, there is less wearing of bones and joints, resulting in our bodies lasting more years in good health. There is also less strain on muscles, tendons and ligaments, which avoid overuse injuries, when some muscles work harder to compensate for poor posture.
